Croatian Fine Wines supply wines to Phyllis Court Club Wine Circle Dinner

Phyllis Court Club Wine Croatian Dinner & Wine Tasting

Croatian Fine Wines are delighted to announce that they will be supplying Croatian wines from Kabola and Franc Arman for the Phyllis Court Club Wine Circle’s first Croatian Dinner and Wine Tasting event on 8 May 2013.

The Croatian Ambassador Dr Ivan Grdešić and his wife Elena, with Helena Majetić the Officer for Political and Economic Affairs will be guests of honour at the dinner, at which over 100 guests will attend.

The Croatian Wine and Food Match for the dinner is as follows:

Pre Drinks Reception

Kabola Re (Sparkling wine traditional method)

First Course

Kabola Malvazija 2011 Vrhunsko and Franc Arman Chardonnay 2011

Smoked Salmon and Prawn Roulade with a Watercress and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dressing

Main Course

Kabola Merlot 2009 Vrhunsko and Kabola Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Pan Roasted Medallions of Venison, Served with a Mushroom Duxelle, Edamame and Broad Beans, Asparagus and a Red Currant Jus.

Dessert Course

Kabola Muskat Momjanski 2010 Vrhunsko

Strawberry Sable with Mascapone and Vanilla with a Light Berry Coulis

James Waddell, Managing Director of Croatian Fine Wines Limited will be presenting the wines at the event before each course, which promises to be a superb evening of fine Croatian wines and food matches.

The Phyllis Court Club Wine Circle is one of the largest wine circles in the UK with over 300 members.  They are also in the planning stage of a wine tour of the Costal wine regions of Croatia, for around 30 to 40 of their members in September 2014.

The Croatian National Tourist Office will be supplying copies of the new brochure Croatian Eno-Gastronomy for guests as a primer for their visit to Croatia.
