Tasting Notes
This is a traditional grape for their family, once thought to be Gamay but now acknowledged to be Blaufrankisch. It has light colour, gentle red fruit aromas with a hint of spice and meadow herbs. It has flavours of juicy red fruit with gentle tannins and lovey purity and elegance. Serve cool with cured meats and ham, stuffed mushrooms, baked lamb or even salmon.
