A quality dry white wine, Matusko Pošip 2017 from the Pelješac Peninsular of the Dalmatia wine region of Croatia. EU Protected Designated Origin (PDO) Dingač, Wine of Croatia.

This wine is a typical varietal example of the Pošip variety. Matusko winery is situated in Potomje, perched on the top of the cliffs of the Pelješac Peninsular, which is north of Dubrovnik and roughly half way to Split in the wine region of Dalmatia. The wines are made from vines on the rocky coastal cliffs which are a little north and south respectively of Potomje.

Tasting Notes

Matšuko Pošip 2017 is as quality dry white wine from the Dingač region. It is straw yellow with a hint of green, with aromas of lemon and citrus fruits. On the pallet there are flavours of apple and elderberry, with good refreshing acidity.

Ideally pair with seafood or white meats.
