Veralda’s white muskat (muscat) grapes are cultivated on the gentle hills of Buje, which produces a light-yellow glow with a slight hint of green, in an expressive combination of aromas of oriental spices, nutmeg, and cardamom. This elegant, medium sweet muskat, has a soft, well-balanced cleanness that’s easy-drinking in style and isn’t cloying. Lightly grapey and floral, with vibrant fruity flavours of dry apricots. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C as an aperitif or as a ‘not too sweet’ dessert.
Food pairing: Cheese and pastas with mild sauces, and all things Croatian…this muskat is an excellent partner for fruit tarts, cheesecake and truffle dishes.
