Tasting Notes
A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Teran and Borgonja, bringing together international and local grapes. The grapes were part dried in an attic (like Italy’s Amarone) before ageing for just over a year in oak. This is complex and serious wine with a bouquet of tobacco and black cherry, masses of concentration and plenty of fine-grained tannins. Built to last and would benefit from decanting at least a couple of hours before serving or even better tuck it away for a year or two. Great with the Sunday roast.
