Hercego Plavac 2016

Vinarija Citluk is the biggest winery in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Citluk owns 300 hectares of their own vineyards, and collaborates on another 100 hectares. The Hercego Plavac 2016 is made from the indigenous Plavac Mali grape. The vineyards are located in the Stony region, south of the historic town of Mostar.

Tasting Notes

The wine is deep red with a hint of blue. On the nose it has aromas of dark plums, cherry and almonds. The wine is dry, and full bodied, with medium-high tannins. The typical Plavac Mali flavours of dark fruit, cherry and a hint of chocolate are present.
