Tasting Notes

The wine is light purple in colour. On the nose it has scents of violets, cherry and dark chocolate. The initial taste is almost sweet, with ripe fruit up of plums and dark cherries. The tannins are refined. Overall it is a characterful and drinkable style. Pair with roast beef or lamb, with full-flavoured roast vegetables.
